Description:
This project involved the interior restoration of museum house maintained by the Friends of the Dwight Derby House. After research and paint analysis were conducted, multiple layers of flaking paint were carefully removed from the walls and paneling. The original plaster lathe walls were then repaired and the rooms were repainted in original colors. The second phase of the project involved the restoration of the floors and the 18th century window sash.
